Fur Layers

Jeans- ASOS // Gilet- New Look // Shirt- Topshop // T-Shirt- Forever 21 // Shoes- TU // Necklace- Vintage Fashion Jewellery // Watch- Coach

Hands up who hates Autumn already?! While I absolutely hate being cold, I've actually picked up some beautiful clothes for this season so it's not all bad. At the moment, it's still just about warm enough to get away with not wearing a coat but long sleeves are still a must so I've layered a simple khaki tea under my shirt to add a bit of colour and added this warm faux fur gilet to keep me feeling toasty. Also I'm still wearing trainers as I'm yet to find some warm and comfortable boots, but believe me- when I do, they'll be all you see until March!

Loving Leopard

Shirt- New Look // Jeans- ASOS // Shoes- TK Maxx

My love for leopard print is real. I spotted this shirt in New Look last week and snatched it up straight away. It works for pretty much any occasion- this was for a cute meal out but it looks really casual with some skinny jeans and a cardigan or I could dress it up even more with some heels and a mini skirt. Let's talk about these shoes for a minute. They're by Kurt Geiger and I saw them in TK Maxx months ago when they were full price and decided they were too pricey, much as I loved them. When I checked back a couple of weeks ago they had been reduced right down to £10- you can imagine my excitement. The downside is that I wore them for a night out and they ripped my feet to shreds (Compeed plasters have been my best friend since then) but they're slowly breaking in and that doesn't stop me from admiring their metallic tassled beauty.

Casual Leopard and Pink

Skirt- Topshop // Top- ASOS // Shoes- TU // Necklace- Topshop

The leopard skirt is back! Honestly I just feel so great whenever I throw this skirt on so although it's not an item I can wear everyday, it's something that makes me feel a little bit special whenever I do wear it. Today I've gone for a super casual look with some comfortable shoes, perfect for a day trip (I may repeat this look when I pop to London next week!). I feel like you can't go wrong with a statement piece and a basic- this v-neck t-shirt was such a good buy as I get a ridiculous amount of wear out of it and should probably pick up another as a back up!

Palm Print Heels by Henry Holland

Shoes- H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams // Jeans- Miss Selfridge // Top- Forever 21 // Jacket- Miss Selfridge

Ok, this one is all about the shoes. I picked these beauties up on a whim a few weeks ago because they just caught my eye. They're a platform with a five and a half inch heel, with a heel cutout and this super cute palm leaf print all over. I've found that these are so great for teaming with a really simple outfit just to add a burst of summer and fun, which is what I'm wearing today. Along with a pastel blazer, they instantly turn this simple white outfit into something perfect for an evening out. In terms of how comfortable they are...they're not great. Then again, the majority of my heels nowadays are fairly low so I guess it'll just take some getting used to as I used to only wear sky-high heels. That being said I know I'll get a lot of wear out of them this summer, be it at a summery barbecue or on my holidays.

Retro Batwings

Top- Miss Selfridge // Jeans- ASOS // Shoes- River Island // Necklace- Vintage Fashion Jewellery // Lipstick- Cardinal by MAC

This is possibly my favourite outfit at the moment. I was drew to this top as it is a bit different due to the really retro shape. The tie at the back to fasten the top along with the v-neck is super flattering and the batwing sleeves are just so unusual. My love affair with these jeans continues, even more so now that you can see my new tattoo peeking through one of the rips. I've teamed the whole look with a cherry red lip to add to the retro vibe and honestly, it's a look I could just live in this summer.

Full and Floral

Dress- ASOS // Shoes- Dorothy Perkins

A couple of weeks ago I had my school leavers dinner which officially marks the end of my school years which feels very strange but that evening was a fantastic way to round it off. Dressing up and getting to wear something a bit fancy was so much fun and I really wish I got to do it more. I picked out my dress months ago and fell in love with it- it's a thick scuba-style material which means that the skirt looked nice and full, but here's the best part- it has pockets! All girls can identify with the struggle of their clothes not having real pockets so to find them in a formal dress was great. I kept it really simple accessories-wise with some pastel sandals and silver jewellery and my DIY floral clutch bag. Unfortunately it rained all day so the photos don't look brilliant but I think you can get the gist of the look as a whole!

Dressy Denim and Brown Legs

Skirt- Topshop // Top- New Look // Shoes- ASOS // Necklace- Topshop

When I first showed you this little denim skirt a few weeks ago I promised I'd show you how I would dress it up for an evening look and today I'm following that promise through! This was a look I wore for a little night out I had recently where the weather was super warm and since I knew I'd be dancing, I wanted to go for something that I wouldn't get too warm in. The outfit is really simple (something I could definitely wear as a casual daytime outfit) but the shoes and the make-up help to take it to a slightly dressier look.

You may be able to tell here (due to the white line down the side of my foot!) but I've been trialling a new self tanner lately- the Garnier Ambre Solaire Bronzing Mist. It's so easy to use- just spray it on, don't rub it in and leave it to dry. It means no orange fingers and dries in less than 15 minutes. If I apply it in the morning I can see a result by the time I go to bed which is fantastic. If you'd like to see a full review do let me know!

My ASOS Mom

Jeans- ASOS // Shirt- Topshop // Jacket- TK Maxx // Shoes- River Island

It was way back in 2013 when I first had a pair of mom jeans but I sold them on eBay last year as i just wasn't getting enough wear out of them. I'm so used to skinny jeans that I just didn't feel comfortable in them. Recently though I've been seeing so many people wearing them that I've been on the hunt for a new pair. I'd tried on a few pairs before I found these Farleigh Jeans from ASOS and it's fair to say I'm in love. They are absolutely the perfect fit- high-waisted, tight on the bum and just slightly looser around the knee. The wash of denim and the rips just completely sold them to me and every time I put them on I just feel fantastic.

I've teamed them with my favourite white shirt which I think simply is a very classic combo. There's so many ways to dress it, whether with trainers and a big cardigan for something casual or heels and a nice updo for an evening look. Today though I've gone for a very 70s western-inspired look which I think works so well for this in-between weather we've been having lately.

The Leopard Skirt

Shirt- Topshop // Skirt- Topshop // Shoes- TU // Necklace- Dorothy Perkins

When my friends and I are discussing what to wear for a night out this skirt is known as "the leopard" and is a fail-safe option because it adds a bit of texture and a bit of fun to any outfit. I'm also really loving this crisp white shirt for wearing with pretty much anything, and paired with this skirt I think it makes a really classic look. Accessories-wise I kept it really simple and minimal and I've done the same with my make-up. I'm wearing Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation which is gorgeous and MAC's Soar lip liner which I am fully obsessed with. Sometimes I'm just really pleased with how a look has turned out and that's what happened here.

70s Fringe

Jacket- TK Maxx // Top- ASOS // Jeans- Miss Selfridge // Shoes- River Island

Here's a few little outfit snaps I took last week with a couple of new items I wanted to show you. I live in my black skinny jeans but wanted something a bit different now it's beginning to feel more summery so I picked up this white ripped pair. They're a bit high-waisted which means that I can dress them up with a crop top to create more of an evening look or keep them casual. Also I'm really digging this 70s trend at the moment and this fringe suede-style jacket was a complete steal at TK Maxx and is a great way to update a simple outfit to something really spot on trend. On my lips is my latest addition to my MAC lipstick collection called Cardinal- I've got a little review up of this along with the lip liner Soar if you're interested in reading more.

Birthday Cat Dress!

Dress- ASOS // Jacket- Boohoo // Shoes- New Look

So this was my birthday look- something very typically me I think. This dress caught my eye because of the print and the fit but as soon as I noticed it also had cats on it I just had to buy it. I felt really comfortable in it because it's a reasonable length the material is a lovely stretchy fabric, almost swimming costume-like I would say. I did actually but some pink shoes to go with it but decided to return them as I didn't think I'd get much wear out of them, so instead I went for a simple black pair which are fairly comfortable and kept it simple accessories-wise with just my rose gold watch and some small studs in my ears.

White Lace and Marl

Dress- H&M // Cardigan- Topshop // Watch- Coach // Shoes- Office // Sunglasses- Forever 21

Here's a quick little outfit I threw on the other day to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine. I picked up this dress in New York at the start of the month (I probably bought more summery clothes than I needed at that time but hey ho!) and it's so simple and pretty that it works for any occasion. To smarten it up slightly I added my leather sandals and this simple cardigan. I'm definitely more of a summery person- I just feel so much happier when the sun is out and everything has this warm, bright glow to it. Maybe that's just me being too cheery but I'm hoping for a lot more sun anyway!

White Denim

Skirt- Topshop // Top- New Look // Cardigan- Topshop // Sunglasses- Forever 21 // Necklace- Topshop // Shoes- TU

Although I was sad be home from New York, the warm weather definitely helped me through this as it allowed me to put on some of the new summery clothes I'd bought straightaway. This white denim mini skirt is so different from anything I already own and I think it might become a wardrobe staple- it makes a change to skinny jeans but is still a creates a really casual look. It is pretty short so I threw on some frilly shorts underneath to avoid any unwanted flashing! I also bought this cardigan which goes with everything, as it's the right balance between smart and super slouchy. Hooray for it having pockets too!

Pleated Midi

Dress- ASOS // Shoes- ASOS

It's not often that I get to dress up in anything fancy so when the oppertunity comes along I always buy something new. I feel like ASOS just do occasion wear so well- there's such a variety of options but I went for something simple but elegant. It has a wrap top which is very flattering and it just skims the hips and flows into a simple midi length. While I know it looked good, I also felt very comfortable in it which meant I could really enjoy my evening. I've teamed it (of course) with my fanciest and most favourite shoes and I think it's a winning look!
