Neglected Products
Following on my post about Once Loved Products, today I'm talking products that I still love but rarely use.
Sleek Storm Palette: This was one of the first palettes I ever bought and I still think it's beautiful- the intense shimmery shades really make for a 'wow' look but I find myself reaching for more neutral shades a lot recently. You can see the original review of it here (be nice- it's an old one!) but looking back at it now, I think I'm going to try and make the effort to use it more.
No7 Loose Powder: This is a pretty old product now but powders don't really go off which is why I've still got it. It's a really nice, light powder, although I do find the fact that it's loose a little harder to work with than a pressed powder. I really used to cake this on my face when I first got it as I wanted a really matte look which is why I believe this is my second tub of it. I think the reason I don't use it as much anymore is mainly to do with price- it costs £10.50 compared to my Rimmel Stay Matte, which costs just £3, that does the same job.
Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation: Probably the last time you will have seen this in action was in my Face of the Day #2. I remember how much I loved this foundation when I first got it. It has medium coverage but feels light on the skin and a natural finish. It's quite similar to the L'Oreal True Match and my new Max Factor 3 in 1 foundations but I haven't used this in a while because it's running low, and once it's empty, I'm not sure whether or not I'd repurchase it.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation: Will I ever stop talking about this product? I hope not. This is probably the least neglected out of these products, because I still do use it on occasions but only on a night out, which means it gets used probably once a month at the very most. You can see here that it's running pretty low but there's no doubt that I will repurchase this once it runs out.
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow: This is the shade water, which I got for Christmas a couple of years ago and to this day is the only MAC eyeshadow I own. I think this shade Water has been discontinued now but it is really pretty. I rarely wear this however because, as I said earlier, I tend to go for mainly neutral shades on the eyes and so something that's green and shimmery doesn't get much use. I think perhaps as we get more towards Christmas party season I'm going to start experimenting with greens and blues more on my eyes so I'll keep you updated on what I do with this.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish: My full review of this product can be found here and it's still something that I find really pretty. However I mainly reach for a cream highlighter, rather than a shimmery powder highlight because it looks more natural. I'm going to try and get some more use out of this as we get into the colder months though, because my skin gets pretty dull so it's going to need all the extra help it can get to inject that glow.
