This cardigan is not a new addition to my wardrobe but it wasn't until I was pulling all my wintery knits out of storage a couple of weeks ago that I remembered it. While it is a chunky knit cardigan, the classic monochrome design and shape make it that little bit smarter, so it's great for a night out if you know you're going to need that extra warmth. I've styled it really simply here- with (yes I know) another black turtleneck. This one is ever so slightly cropped and has short sleeves making it very versatile. Didn't I tell you I was going to get lots of wear out of this skirt? The easiest way to dress it up is by simply adding a pair of elegant shoes and a classic red lip (MAC's Ruby Woo) to finish the look.
