L'Oreal Colour Riche Quad in Infiniment Bronze

I initially went into Boots wanting to pick up the new L'Oreal Nudes palette which I thought looked very interesting but after swatching it, I have to admit I wasn't that impressed. What did catch my eye however was this L'Oreal Colour Riche Quad. They're not particularly new but they have a large range of shades and they only cost about £8. After much deliberation, I picked up the shade Infiniment Bronze because it has a few shades that I don't already have something like in my collection.

The palette consists of fours shades which you can use separately but work really well all together to create a bronze smokey eyes. The shimmery cooper is what really attracted me to it- I've never really worn that colour before so was interested in trying it. The packaging is pretty simple- plastic but feels fairly sturdy with a little double ended brush (which to be honest is pretty useless but it's still nice to have in case you're having a brush emergency). The quality of the shadows blew me away though- they are incredibly pigmented and buttery and blend out beautifully. While they didn't last on my eyes as long as I'd hoped, this could be partly due to me as I have fairly oily eyelids and don't normally use a primer.

Overall all though, I adore this quad and can definitely see myself picking up another in the future. All cosmetics are on 3 for 2 in Boots at the moment so get yourself down there soon to pick one (or three!) up.
